hero (Casey Courey-Pickering) is a Los Angeles based contemporary artist/muralist that creates socially charged images with his blend of mixed media and spray paint.

This piece is inspired by the dualities of creation and destruction with the balance of the two being held by an astronaut, which represents technology, evolution and growth. As humans continue to build technology to improve life on this planet and explore new worlds we still must keep the delicate balance of Earth as our priority.
